Welcome to Golo Holidays! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Golo Holidays' Website, located at goloholidays.com.

1. Booking and Payments

By booking a tour with us, you agree to make the required advance payment (typically 30% of total package cost) to secure hotel bookings and transport logistics. Balance payments must be settled upon arrival in Leh or Srinagar before starting the tour.

2. High Altitude Medical Liability

Ladakh and Spiti Valley are situated at extreme altitudes (above 10,000 feet). Travel in these zones poses natural risks of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).

It is the traveler's responsibility to obtain medical clearance from a general physician before arrival. Golo Holidays is not liable for medical costs, evacuation costs, or trip disruptions caused by altitude-related sicknesses. We provide oxygen cylinders in all cabs as emergency aid, but this does not replace hospital treatment.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Cancellations 30 days prior to departure: 100% refund of advance deposit.
  • Cancellations 15-29 days prior: 50% refund of advance deposit.
  • Cancellations less than 15 days prior: No refund of advance deposit.
4. Unforeseen Disasters and Force Majeure

Landslides, snowstorms, pass closures (such as Khardung La or Rohtang Pass), and military restrictions can block roads at short notice. Golo Holidays reserves the right to change itineraries in these situations to ensure client safety. Additional costs incurred due to road blockages or flights cancellation will be borne by the traveler.
